Earth Sciences Institute of Shinyanga (ESIS) is a Private Technical Institute registered by the National Council for Technical Education of Tanzania (NACTE) with Reg. No REG/SAT/058 to offer Exploration & Mining Geology and Petroleum Geology programs.
ESIS invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Natural Science Teacher (PCM) to support the delivery of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics courses at certificate and diploma levels.
- Position: Natural Science Teacher – PCM
- Department: Academics
- Reports to: The Principal
Main Purpose
To teach PCM subjects and support academic excellence within ESIS’s science programs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Teach Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at NTA Levels 4–6.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Conduct continuous assessments and semester examinations.
- Support students in practical sessions and academic projects.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic quality assurance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Science) or Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
