Earth Sciences Institute of Shinyanga (ESIS) is a Private Technical Institute registered by the National Council for Technical Education of Tanzania (NACTE) with Reg. No REG/SAT/058 to offer Exploration & Mining Geology and Petroleum Geology programs.
ESIS invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Geology Tutor.
- Position: Geology Tutor (2 posts)
- Department: Geology
- Reports to: The Principal
Main Purpose
To teach Geology courses at NTA Levels 4–6 and support academic operations within the department.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Teach Geology courses at NTA Levels 4–6.
- Conduct examinations up to NTA Level 8.
- Participate in research, consultancy, and curriculum review.
- Prepare teaching materials and learning resources.
- Provide academic guidance and supervise student practical projects.
- Mentor junior teaching staff.
- Submit performance reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc. in Geology or related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
